Well, here we go; this will be interesting.

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt? Nine years, give or take a couple of months I was simply lurking to look at all the pretty pictures.

  2. What does your username mean? "Cloudpow" is the shortened version of my original username "Cloudpower1000". In the early years of message boards and usernames (read: The Sims message boards and the start of Neopets), I drew a blank on what to call myself. Sitting at the computer desk, I looked outside the window and saw the clouds. Thus, with the influence of Dragon Ball Z power levels, I called myself CloudPower100.

  3. Describe yourself in three words. I would say I'm adventurous; you can't really keep me in one place for very long. Creative is a definite from my own experience, and weird would be the last word to describe me. I take a sense of pride in freaking people out with the things I come up with.

  4. Are you left or right handed? I write with my right hand, but many activities I do usually involve me using both hands for the task. So, if you see me jotting down a quick note with my left hand, it's simply because I've strengthened my use of that hand.

  5. What was your first deviation? And...now here comes the pain. Dethklok in my brain by CloudpowMost of my early submissions were photographs of random things in my life. This photo was taken shortly after I had graduated from high school.

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? I create many crafts, so it is sometimes difficult to choose just one. But, fiberart has been the most rewarding as well as the most therapeutic for myself as a person as well as an artist.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? There are many to choose from, but I would certainly love to be more fluent in playing musical instruments; particularly, I would want a master skill in string instruments.

  8. What was your first favourite? Let's see...Wow, it gets really interesting when you're digging through your past on here. sage advice by enolianslaveTo this day, I am a big fan of Jak and Daxter. At the time of this favourite, the games were fresh and the series was still growing with new information and expansions. This piece drew me in, because there is not much information from the childhood/past of Jak and Daxter, other than they grew up together with Samos' never being the type to approve of Daxter's behavior.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Nowadays, I lean more towards crafts; especially if they pertain to cosplay.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Rick Boer, :iconrbf-productions-nl:, is an incredible craftsman and quite the gentleman. Though I have never met him personally, I frequent conventions across the southern U.S., and I hope to branch out and travel internationally to see his work in person.

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? I would not wish to meet a stranger, so I would love to see my very good friend, :iconphoenixfirecat: again before the end of the year. We typically meet at Dickens on the Strand in December, but I would love to have summer and New Year's visits with her again.

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? I cannot name just one person, but meeting and interacting with other craftsmen and artists has opened up my perspective on creations from around the world. That, and I know that even though the U.S. is cutting down on their art programs across the country, I can still travel and find artists going strong in their work.

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Any tool that is durable and doesn't rust. That being said, my tools of trade are sewing machines, knitting needles, bowls, and quite a few power tools and appliances.

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Sitting down and watching people pass me. This is best done at a convention or while staying at a hotel. Sitting in the lobby or outside on a bench can bring a huge wave of ideas to my head as I watch people go on with their lives.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? I enjoy giving friends DeviantArt Premium accounts by surprise, so the best reaction I got from that was when I gave :iconphoenixfirecat: a Premium membership on her birthday without telling her beforehand. Though she was overwhelmed with what she would do with the membership, her sheer happiness from the discovery was very much worth it.

I know I had asked, "What happened to my October?", but now I see December is two weeks away and I'm wondering if I'm in a time warp or Father Time is playing an elaborate prank on me.

CyphaCon 2015 is confirmed for Radical Works. I'm going to try and do more conventions this summer, as my usual con rounds are not during the summer in 2015.

That being said, I'm currently making stock for my shop right now. There might be a new creature, but no promises on that one.

Otherwise, I'm currently filling my 2015 calender with cons, events, and anything else that could/should happen. If you would like me to attend a certain con or event, PLEASE let me know as soon as possible! Also, if you have any links to lists of events/cons, that would be awesome.

Note: Some of these events also include Vampire Balls; not everything I attend is to sell my work. :D

It's been a month to the day that I have last updated my journal, and OMG it totally doesn't feel like a month!

Okay, so, I have a few new things to say; I'm going to make this as quick of an update as possible.

1. I have new items in the shop! And I don't mean just a few new soap bars or bears. You can now purchase wax melts as well as votive candles!

2. There are over 50 new fragrances in the shop! This includes Raspberry Tart, Rootbeer Float, Pink Lemonade, as well as Milk! (You thought you were safe from the weird for a sec, didn't you?)

3. I feel I owe an apology to my sis, :iconphoenixfirecat: as well as the family we share. With me being a senior in college now as well as my business in full force, I don't have that much time to keep in touch with them. That is, personal individualized socialization instead of just random comments through updates (like this one!) on social media. She tells me that she doesn't feel like we've grown apart, but man, do I feel guilty for not being able to talk to people...

Okay, that's about it for now. As with every year around this time, my last event is Dickens on the Strand in Galveston, TX. I've been keeping track of conventions that I'm able to drive to (6-hrs max for right now) and I have quite a list right now. If you guys have any cons you would really like to see me at, please let me know in the comments or a PM. :D

I have a few days off coming up so it's probably now a good time to give some updates.

This is going to be very brief as I'm short on time.

1. Yes, I will be at Dickens on the Strand. You can find me at the booth of the Airship Isabella. No, I will not have soap bars, but you can still purchase Radical Bears and Radical Kitties.

2. Commissions are still open. If you don't see a fragrance you like in the shop, you can request a different fragrance. Commissions apply to knitted items as well as bath products, including candles.

3. No, I do not have any other conventions this year. If you want to see requests for me to attend a convention, make it for 2015.

4. Yes, there is now a queue for orders from Radical Works. It's the holiday season, things are piling up, get your orders in as soon as possible if you want them at a certain time.

5. If you have any questions or commissions, please e-mail me at radicalzombie@gmail.com.

6. If you would like to keep updated with my work on a frequent basis, follow "BubonicZombie" on Twitter, or "Like" the Radical Works Facebook page. Radical Works is also on Tumblr (RadicalWorks) and Instagram (RadicalWorks).

7. Early warning: Social media is for sharing fun things and being social, not just to post business dealings and constant updates. Radical Works supports many interests, including heavy metal, horror movies, and the UFC. Please do not message me about "False advertisement" about my business when it comes to social media. There is nothing false about my interests.

That's all for now.

Hey guys.

Going to make this quick, as I have a lot of things going on at once right now.

1. I'm having a 50% off clearance sale in the shop right now. That's EVERYTHING in the shop right now. www.radicalworks.etsy.com

2. Commissions are closed for right now. They will open again sometime in September.

3. Still haven't found my name on one of those coke bottles.

4. Thank you for being patient with me and updating the website.

5. New items in the shop: Incense, Body Powder, Laundry Detergent, and Lip Balm. I have my own Gasoline scented lip balm, and I LOVE it.

6. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support Radical Works throughout the years. Every little thing counts; including simply saying, "Thank you" for the Absinthe perfume.

Okay, that's all I have for now, and that's pretty much the gist of what's going on right now. I'm currently in the process of moving my studio, so things are going to be slowing down for a short while during August.
